Mary from the Official Firefox Download Day blog has just posted this:
Hi all: Download Day starts on June 17th at 10 a.m. PDT. Check this out for local times: http://tinyurl.com/4e7fv5
This should answer most of your questions, and it’s really not that far off. This post will be updated when that time comes and I indeed download it. If you haven’t pledged, please do so now, and we can all help Firefox 3 be the most downloaded software in 24 hours!
1:23 PM EST – Firefox 3 was supposed to launch 23 minutes ago, but it seems as if their beloved servers are down due to the high demand. I had a hunch that this would happen.
1:30 PM EST – All of the Mozilla servers are now totally non-responsive. Perhaps we should postpone the World Record breaking attempt until users can actually complete their pledge?

1:40 PM EST – Here is a mirror list of the Firefox releases. There is a folder for “3.0″ but it was uploaded on the 10th. Hopefully the final version of 3 will show up here soon.
1:58 PM EST – I just received my pledge email with a link to download Firefox 3. However, it just links to the old download of Version 2. The images in the email didn’t load, which means that some of their servers are still dead. However, the site servers seem to be coming back up slowly as well. Congrats Mozilla!

2:18 PM EST – Servers seem to be back up and the new download page is now active. However, the download link still directs to version 2 and version 3 is not live yet.
3:00 PM EST – The new Mozilla page is up and all the download links are working. Congratulations Mozilla. Now let’s get that world record.
